My Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Chicken Parmesan

2 large skinless boneless chicken beast halves
2 c grated Mozzarella Cheese
Egg Wash
1 egg
1 tbs water or milk
Breading
1/3 c flour
1/3 c plain bread crumbs
2 tsp parsley
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp b. pepper
2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
2 tbs veg. oil
Sauce
1 can tom sauce
1 can tom diced
1 can tom paste
2 tsp parsley
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp b. pepper
2 tbs olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 deg
Bread and brown chicken in a skillet
Combine all sauce ingredients and simmer 5 mins
Pour a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
Place chicken in baking dish and pour rest of sauce over it.
Bake for 30 mins
Sprinkle mozz cheese over top and bake additional 12-15 mins
Let rest 5 mins before serving
