I hate them because A) if you tell them, you get crushed yourself and B) if you don't tell them and they were interested in you, you'll feel regret for the rest of your life

I see why you hate them, and don't get me wrong, I completely understand. You shouldn't let love control you life, but everybody has love at SOME point, if they like it or not.
