wolf white

i dream of a wolf so proud is his stance
so pure and white with dark blue eyes
looking toward the crystal clear waters
of a stream running by with foggy mist
rolls across it's banks

the turn of his head as he looks upon me
i feel the energy of his spirit become part of me
as i too be a part of him

together we walk for many a bright full moon
side by side and yet knowing the thoughts of the other
with knowledge of the wild and of the city we share

brothers we are to not survive but live
and thrive united in sacred bond unknown
to many but not the few with each a family
of pups and children at play
for they will be like of the wolf and i
on this warm winter day.
