I recently met a poet who told me that the way to best tackle a feeling is to put it into the form of a poem.......so one night when i couldnt sleep i decided to give it a go......and this is what i came up with!! tell me what u think:
Self control by Shanna
Needing, wanting
Constantly requiring more,
Yet do I really need it?
I don't know I'm not really sure
The desire that builds up inside,
Unrelenting, Unquenchable,
I see, I want, I need,
I give in, to the inevitable
And so like a piece of glass,
I crack, i break
My self control shattered to pieces,
Leaving only regret in its wake!
